Marcos Lopez
Executive Sous Chef
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Chef Marcos Lopez graduated from Johnson & Wales University, in 2015. Following his studies, Marcos worked at award-winning two Michelin-starred in New York City, Restaurant Daniel. Completing his studies as an extern, Chef Marcos fell in love with French cooking, and continued his career with Dinex at Bar Boulud learning classical techniques and developing his craftsmanship. After his time with Dinex, he moved on to restaurant Olmsted, in the heart of Prospect Heights where he worked as a Chef-de-partie and took on a Sous-Chef role a couple years later. When Marcos is not in the kitchen, he loves researching, seeing what people are responding to in the culinary zeitgeist, and finding inspiration, as a diner, seeing what other chefs are cooking up in their kitchens.
