Diego Nunez

Head Bartender

Growing up in a family that is passionate about food and owned restaurants in his hometown in Spain, Diego Nunez was inspired to start his career in hospitality when he traveled to the Canary Islands after completing his studies. He began working for four- and five-star hotels in the islands, where he remained for seven years.  It was when Diego was missing his Dad, who was living in the US at the time, that he decided to move to NYC.   After living in NYC for more than 10 years and working for chefs like Jose Garcés (James Beard Award) and Dani Garcia (3 Michelin stars), Diego joined the Francie team as the Bar Manager.   In his time off he likes to play bass in a rock band.
